Countryside Area

We run competitions for Blacksmiths, Sheep Shearers and Beekeepers as well as hosting a number of practitioners of traditional rural crafts such as stick making, lace making and felting.

If you are intersted in showcasing your traditional craft, please get in contact with us.

The Axemen will be racing against each other to cut through huge chunks of wood, there are Gundog displays and Bill Galpin’s Racing Terriers, Craft demonstrations, Sheep Shearing competitions and Alpacas.

Other attractions include the Bee Tent and Tug of War.

The Blacksmiths will be holding competitions throughout the day.

We have over 260 different trade stands exhibitors every year.

Find a tasty array of produce and drink in the Food Hall; paintings, crafts, clothes and more in our indoor marquees; everything from plants to BBQ huts on our outside pitches and of course, everything agricultural too.

We have a huge variety of traders come to the North Somerset Show each year.

If you are interested in trading on Monday 6th May 2024, please apply online here
