The North Somerset Show
The 163rd North Somerset Show will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 5th May 2025
Gates open at 8.30am.
Parking is free.

Dogs are welcome on fixed length leads but are not allowed (except for assistance dogs) in the Food Hall or Livestock Lines.

Livestock
Entries close on the 6th April 2024.
Cattle, pig and sheep judging will start from 8.30am
The Grand parade of Champion Livestock takes place at 3pm.
Horse Showing & Showjumping
If you would like to be sent a schedule for the 2024 North Somerset Show, please get in touch.
The horse section gets underway at 9.00am with the Hunter Classes, Mountain and Moorland and Retraining of Racehorses. Show jumping starts at 8.30 and will be running throughout the day.
Heavy horses are always an impressive sight and you can watch them being judged in the showing ring.
Countryside Area
We run competitions for Blacksmiths, Sheep Shearers and Beekeepers as well as hosting a number of practitioners of traditional rural crafts such as stick making, lace making and felting.
If you are intersted in showcasing your traditional craft, please get in contact with us.
The Axemen will be racing against each other to cut through huge chunks of wood, there are Gundog displays and Bill Galpin’s Racing Terriers, Craft demonstrations, Sheep Shearing competitions and Alpacas.
Other attractions include the Bee Tent and Tug of War.
The Blacksmiths will be holding competitions throughout the day.
Trade Stands
We have over 260 different trade stands exhibitors every year.
Find a tasty array of produce and drink in the Food Hall; paintings, crafts, clothes and more in our indoor marquees; everything from plants to BBQ huts on our outside pitches and of course, everything agricultural too.
We have a huge variety of traders come to the North Somerset Show each year.
