The 162nd North Somerset Show has been postponed

The next Show will take place on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May 2022, we look forward to seeing you there.

Livestock

Cattle, pig and sheep judging will start from 9.00am

Llama judging will start from 10am.

The Grand parade of Champion Livestock takes place at 3pm.

Livestock Showing

Horse Showing & Showjumping

The horse section gets underway at 8am with the Hunter Classes, Mountain and Moorland and Retraining of Racehorses. Show jumping starts at 8.30 and will be running throughout the day.

Heavy horses are always an impressive sight and you can watch them being judged from 11.30am with the addition of demonstrations.

Main Ring

The main ring takes centre stage with events running all through the day.

Make sure you look at the timetable so that you don’t miss out on anything.

Countryside Area

The Axemen will be racing against each other to cut through huge chunks of wood, there are Gundog displays and  Bill Galpin’s Racing Terriers, Craft demonstrations, Sheep Shearing and Alpacas.

Other attractions include the Poultry and Waterfowl Show, the highly entertaining Sheep Show, the Bee Tent and Tug of War.

The Blacksmiths will be holding competitions throughout the day.

Tractor Pulling

Tractor pulling is a high-octane competition to see which tractor can pull a weighted sled the furthest down a 100 metre-long track.

Witness the spectacle for yourself!

Competitions run all day from 10.30 am.

Trade Stands

We have over 260 different trade stands exhibitors every year. 

Find a tasty array of produce and drink in the Food Hall; paintings, crafts, clothes and more in our indoor marquees; everything from plants to BBQ huts on our outside pitches and of course, everything agricultural too.

Catering

There are a whole host of different options available to satisfy your hunger or thirst throughout Show day.

The Bristol Water Bar will also be on hand for you to top up your water bottles and keep you hydrated.

North Somerset's Strongest Man

Watch the superhuman entrants pit their strength and battle it out to earn the title of North Somerset’s Strongest Man.
