Please be aware there will be a one-way system in operation on Station Road (between the A370 and the B3130). Traffic  will flow towards the showground until 12.00.
At 12.00 the direction will be reversed to take traffic away from the showground.

To avoid this system when travelling towards Bristol on the A370, please continue past Station Road and take the first left toward the B3130.

The lovely people at Sustrans have drawn up some cycling / walking maps you can download and use to get to the Show.

 

 

Please be aware of the one-way system for cars on Station Road on Show Day (see above). Cycles are exempt from this but please use common sense and cycle safely!

There is no dedicated cycle lockup, however you are welcome to lock your bike to the barriers by the main entrance gate, please use common sense and respect other bicycles left here. Bicycles are left entirely at their owners own risk, the Society accepts no responsibility for theft or damage. Please bring your own bike locks.

By Bus

The X8 and X9 bus routes run between Bristol Bus Station and Nailsea, via Wraxall. 

The stop is Flax Bourton, Belmont Hill

Directions by car

Parking at the Showground is free.

Please respect our neighbours and do not park in the roads around the Showground.

From M5 Junction 19 (Gordano Services)

  • Take the A369 for 3.5 miles until a set of traffic lights signposted Bristol B3128 (Alternative route heavy vehicles).
  • Turn right at traffic lights on to the B3128/B3129 (Beggar Bush Lane) Weston-super-Mare/Clevedon. Continue along this road for 2 miles, straight across a set of traffic lights.
  • Continue for further 1.5 miles until a crossroads with B3130. (Care should be taken as this road becomes bendy and steep.)
  • At the crossroads you will be able to see the site.

From M5 Junction 20 (Clevedon)

  • From the motorway you will arrive at a roundabout. Take the road signposted to Nailsea B3130. Continue along this road for approximately 0.6 mile.
  • Turn right at mini roundabout signposted Nailsea B3130. Continue along this road following signs for Nailsea for about 3.5 miles until you reach a T-junction.
  • Turn left signposted to Bristol B3130. Follow this road for approximately 4 miles.
  • The site is on your right.

From M5 Junction 21 (Weston-Super-Mare)

  • Take the A370 signposted to Congresbury. Stay on this road via Congresbury and Backwell for 10.5 miles.
  • At Flax Bourton turn left on to the slip road signposted Barrow Gurney then left on to the B3130 to Wraxall.
  • Take the first left on the first mini roundabout, the second left on the second mini roundabout.
  • The site is on your left after 0.6 miles.

From Bristol

  • Take the A370 out of Bristol. Take the Junction for the B3130 (signed Nailsea / Clevedon). Turn left to take the road towards Wraxall.
  • Take the first left on the first mini roundabout, the second left on the second mini roundabout.
  • The site is on your left after 0.6 miles.
