The countdown is on to the 151st North Somerset Show and as the pieces begin to fall into place, this year's show is looking to be as exciting and diverse as the last, if not more so!
Monday 3rd May this year brings with it a Show first, as we are very excited to introduce Shetlands to the Horse Show. Alongside old favourites such as the Sheep Show and the Pony Club Games, you'll find Livestock from pigs to llamas, children's entertainments and trade stands of all kinds.
For the mechanically minded, there's Tractor pulling, for those more interested in weapons, there's Axemen and Gun dogs, and for those who'd rather be at Crufts, a spot of terrier racing should be fine substitute!
And don't forget the educational aspect that we strive to include in all of our events - you can learn more about animals and trades in one day here in North Somerset than some city kids get in a lifetime!
