The 150th North Somerset Show has now past and the organisers can breathe a huge sigh of relief as the day was deemed to be a success. The crowds flocked to the Show in record numbers despite the cool stiff breeze and the occaisional shower. Livestock numbers were up as well as the horse entries producing a fabulous Show for the public to enjoy. Other highlights from the Show were the Pony Club, terrier and sheep racing a gun dog display and the traditional tractor pulling competition.
The Society would like to thank all those who helped in organising and running the event as well all the members of the public came to the event and we all lookforward to seeing back at the Show next year.
Attention has already turned to the 2010 Show with the re introduction of the flower marquee being a likelihood. If you have a ny further suggestions for the Show then please do not hesitate to contact Tim Ledbury on 08456 342 464 or email him on the address below
