The North Somerset Show on 7th May is still going ahead. Despite the rain the ground is holding out well. Due to the weather conditions the Tractor Pulling will now be a static display only. The Society looks forward to welcoming everybody to their Showground to what promises to be another fantastic day out.

We would also like to make all showjumping competitors aware that the competition will be held at the North Somerset Showground as the ground is safe for the competition to go ahead.

History of the Society

The North Somerset Agricultural Society was formed out of the North Somerset Ploughing Society in 1840 by a small group of farmers.

Its sole purpose was to further agricultural development by communicating agricultural issues and providing a showpiece to the local, general public.  To this day these aims still ring true.
