The North Somerset Agricultural Society was formed out of the North Somerset Ploughing Society in 1840 by a small group of farmers.
Its sole purpose was to further agricultural development by communicating agricultural issues and providing a showpiece to the local, general public. To this day these aims still ring true.
The event took place at Moorledge Farm and adjoining land, Chew Magna, by kind permission of Mr & Mrs G James and H. Curtis & Sons.
Entries for the Ploughing, Hedging and the Craft & Produce Show were strong this year and there was some stiff competition!
Many thanks to all of those who volunteered and came along.
